PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably supply a liquid from the start of use with the help of a negative pressure by making an area excluding an area covering a casing and the liquid supply part of an inner enclosure and a pinch-off part, a face having the largest area and providing a deformation restricting member in an area excluding the peripheral part of the face which becomes the largest area face of the inner enclosure. SOLUTION: On the largest area face of an inner wall 102 of a liquid storage container, a reinforcing member 109 is formed, between the inner wall 102 and an outer wall, toward an area near a peripheral part from the center part of the largest area surface. Of an area, which is substantially of a planar shape, of the outer wall of an ink tank formed of polyhedrons, a part, without an angular part and the reinforcing member 109, of the peripheral part of the inner enclosure corresponding to the largest surface area, has a low strength so that the part without the angular part and the member 109 tends to be deformed to the liquid storage part side enclosed with the inner enclosure. In this case, the outer wall 101 works to control the displacement of the angular part of the inner wall 102, hence almost no positional fluctuation of the angular part. Consequently, the working force of deformation by ink consumption and the working force of restoration to an initial state collaborate to stabilize a negative pressure. |
