1360267 Granular cementitious welding fluxes MESSER GRIESHEIM GmbH 8 Oct 1971 [14 Oct 1970] 46861/71 Heading C7M A granular welding flux is made by mixing at least one of calcite, aragonite, dulomite, magnesite, quartz sand, wollastonite, bauxite pyrolusite, nutile and fluorite with water and 5-90wt per cent of cement and/or cement clinker, hardening the mixture by storage and then crushing to a maximum size of 2À5 mm. The preferred cement content is 35-65% and the mixture can be heated at 400-1000‹ C either before or after hardening. The heating is carried out in a reducing or inert atmosphere. |
