PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain both a ceramic raw material composition capable of readily and effectively utilizing glass, a molten slag of a refuse incineratied ash, an incinerated ash of a sewage sludge and roughly granular sand obtained by classifying clay and a sintered compact thereof and to provide a method for producing the sintered compact. SOLUTION: This ceramic raw material composition is prepared by pulverizing and mixing a glass with a molten slag of a refuse incinerated ash, an incinerated ash of a swage sludge and roughly granular sand obtained by classifying clay as wastes, a ceramic clay and a pottery stone or feldspars according to a wet or a dry pulverizing method. The raw material composition is formed into a prescribed shape with an hydraulic press, etc., to afford a formed compact, which is then sintered at 800-1,300 deg.C temperature provide a sintered compact. |
