PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically establish a positional relationship (alignment in particular) between a currently available B-mode image and an anatomic image of a similar region available through the X-ray CT device, the MRI device or the like, and perform the positional confirmation or the like of a desired region easily, quickly an accurately, regarding an ultrasonograph capable of showing a B-mode image. SOLUTION: This ultrasonograph is formed out of an image data input device 23 for externally entering a plurality of images including a volume image, as well as an image positional relationship establishment and display means 24 for obtaining the tomography of the diagnostic region of a specified specimen at a position corresponding to the tomographic position of a B-mode image prior to the display of the B-mode image of the specific diagnostic region of the specified specimen, and then disposing or superposing the obtained image on the B-mode image for indication, or alternately indicating the obtained tomography and the B-mode image at constant intervals. |
