PHOTOSENSITIVE TRANSFER MATERIAL AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive transfer material such as a color proof having improved reproducibility (dot reproducibility and resolving power), preventing surface stain and excellent in scratch resistance and a printing plate excellent in printing resistance, and manufacturing method therefor. SOLUTION: This photosensitive transfer material has a photosensitive compsn. contg. a pigment having a photoreactive group on the surface or has a photosensitive compsn. contg. a pigment and a compd. having a photoreactive group. The ratio of the compd. to the pigment in the quantity of heat released and that of heat absorbed is <=0.5. Both the components are previously subjected to contact treatment. This photosensitive transfer material has a photosensitive layer whose stickiness is varied when irradiated with light on the substrate and contains a high molecular photo-triggering agent in the photosensitive layer or has a releasing layer and a photosensitive layer whose stickiness is varied when irradiated with light on the substrate and contains a high molecular photo-triggering agent in the releasing layer.
