POSITION DETECTING SWITCH INTEGRATED TYPE ELECTRONIC CONTROL UNIT FOR AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unify a position detecting switch for an automatic transmission and an electronic control unit as one body being compact in size. SOLUTION: An electronic control unit is built in a common case where a board 50 set up with two elements 51a and 51b comprising a microcomputer with a built-in automatic transmission control program and a position detecting switch connected with a detecting part to the microcomputer both are assembled together. This position detecting switch consists of a rotor 40 and five noncontact sensors 52a to 52e set up on the board 50. The microcomputer is built in with a learning control program which operates the dislocation of a turning angle in the rotor to each sensor and compensates it on the basis of each signal out of respective sensors conformed to a rotation of the rotor 40. Out of these element on the board 50, at least a part of the elements is arranged at the outside of a rotor's rotational range.
