PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate the need for a battery possessed substantially or a replacement battery by allowing the possessor of a portable communication equipment to acquire the current position of a caller by the convenience of a caller. SOLUTION: For example, when a possessor desires to be picked up, the possessor uses a display call/function key 22 of an entry means 2 to call a telephone directory and a call reception/dial key 22 is used to call a family or an acquaintance and to request desire of being picked up and of starting a personal computer to activate a navigation software to the family or the acquaintance. Then the user uses a ten-key of a touch sensor of the input means 2 to operate #99. A control circuit applies power to a current position detection means 8 in response thereto to allow the detection means 8 to calculate its current position and to output the current position information from an antenna 4. The personal computer receives this signal to allow the navigation application software to be linked to display the current position on a map. |
