<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate malfunction in case interference occurs between steering wheel operation by a driver and steering control because the steering control is conducted by maintaining a driving course during driving so as not to deviate from the driving course in a conventional device. SOLUTION: This steering controller is provided with a steering wheel operating condition detecting means M3 for detecting the operating condition of a steering wheel, and a correction means M4 for reducing the controlling amount of steering control for correction according to the detected steering wheel operating condition. Therefore, when a driver conducts steering wheel operation, the driver can recognize his or her steering wheel operation from the detected signal of steering wheel operating condition, such as a steering angle and a steering angle speed of front wheels or steering torque. When the driver conducts steering wheel operation, the controlling amount of the steering control is reduced for correction, thus it is possible to prevent interference between his or her steering wheel operation and steering control.</p> |
