PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject molded form effectively usable as an artificial stone with its surface appearance simulated of that of a natural stone by forming an uneven pattern on its surface and constituting the following three specific layers; a coating material layer for sheathing, a surface skin layer and an internal layer. SOLUTION: This composite molded form is composed of (A) a surface skin layer consisting of a coating material layer for sheathing having a 10-50wt.% resin solid and provided with an uneven pattern on the surface and a thermoplastic resin expanded sheet layer, and (B) an internal layer consisting of an expanded thermoplastic resin particles. Prefeably, the surface skin layer has a resin mortar substrate material layer under it. The objective composite molded form is obtained by first putting the coated expanded thermoplastic sheet into a mold for expanded resin molding with its coated surface directed toward the surface of the mold, and then, by heating and fusing expanded thermoplastic resin particles after filling them into the mold. |
