STARCH MATERIAL WITH BOTH WATER HOLDING PROPERTY AND LIPOPHILIC PROPERTY, ITS MANUFACTURE AND UTILIZATION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject material having both water holding property and lipophilic property by heating starch or the mixture of starch and sugar except for starch in oil at a high temperature and then removing the oil component from it. SOLUTION: For example, 15g corn starch is put into rape/soy bean mixed oil heated to 180 deg.C and processed in oil for 15min. Otherwise, 15g corn starch and 5g maltose are powder-mixed and a corn starch/maltose mixed sample are put in the rape/soy bean mixed oil heated to 180 deg.C to process in the oil for 15min. Next, the sample is taken out from the oil and crushed in a mortar for degrease, and filtered after stirring in 250ml hexane under room temperature for one night. Next, it is pressure-reduced and dried for removing the hexane after washing twice with 250ml hexane and crushed in the mortar to obtain about 12.9g or about 14.5g target starch material.
