PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a cost extremely and improve a durability by reducing a machining process and a managing cost. SOLUTION: This compressor is constituted so that the rotation of a swash main body 23 is converted to the reciprocating linear motion of a piston through a swash plate main body 23 supported slantably to a rotary shaft 1 and shoe members 34, 35 installed slidably for the swash plate main body on both surfaces of the swash plate main body 23 and also the slant angle of the swash plate main body is controlled by the pressure difference through the piston member 30 between the pressure in a crank room in which the swash plate main body 23 is internally equipped and an intake pressure. The material of the swash plate main body 23 is formed by at least one kind of copper alloy out of a high power brass alloy, bronze alloy and lead bronze alloy.
