PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the number of parts mounting operations by making a parts mounting machine collectively exchange a plurality of out-of-parts cassettes for another. SOLUTION: A parts mounting machine reduces the number of parts exchanging operations in such a way that, when one kind of parts run out, the machine continues the parts mounting operations by picking up the parts from a waiting table and, when a plurality of kinds of parts run out, the machine makes supply tables to wait at waiting positions and informs the operator of the shortage of the parts. In addition, the efficiency of the parts exchanging operations is improved by informing the designations of parts to be exchanged in advance. |
