摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air bag capable of reducing the complicated setting of swelling pressure of ad inflator and easily controlling the direction of swelling. SOLUTION: A bag shaped air bag 10 which swells slantingly downward of a vehicle body from a swelling opening formed near the upper surface of an instrument panel by pressure fluid jetted from an inflator to an introducing port 10a is provided a delay means 15 for temporarily delaying the introduction of the fluid for swelling the front side of the vehicle body in the vicinity of a part of the introducing port 10a located in the front side of the vehicle body during an initial swelling.
