PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prepare a new drug consisting essentially of an antisense DNA capable of specifically blocking the expression of a physiologically active substance participating in a morbid state of cancer such as leukemia, polycythemia rubra, malignant lymphoma, neuroblastoma, retinoblastoma, rhabdomyosarcoma, Wilm's tumor, neuroblastoma, sarcoma, neuroglioma or trophoblastic tumor and all the physiologically active substances related to multiple drug resistance caused by a chemotherapeutic agent, etc. SOLUTION: This antitumorous antisense drug comprises a complex of a synthetic polyamino acid composed of a regular or an irregular repetitive sequence of lysine residue and serine residue or its polyethylene glycol modification with an antisense oligonucleotide complementary to all or a partial sequence of an mRNA capable of coding a physiologically active substance participating in the morbid state of cancers, all the physiologically active substances participating in the multiple drug resistance caused by a chemotherapeutic agent, etc., and further all the physiologically active substances participating in the cancer metastasis. |
