PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diving system by which a diver in the water, can correctly grasp the position of a ship. SOLUTION: A pulse generator 3 and a pulse generator of a navigation device 6 are reset before diving. An ultrasonic wave pulse signal from an ultrasonic wave speaker 4 is received by the navigation device 6 during the diving, a lag of the timing between the received pulse signal and a pulse signal from the integrated pulse generator, is measured, and the distance to a boat 2 is calculated on the basis of the result of the measurement. The navigation device 6 comprises six ultrasonic wave microphones arranged at intervals of 60 deg. on a circumference, and the direction of the boat 2 is known from the position of the ultrasonic wave microphone which received the ultrasonic wave pulse signal from the ultrasonic wave speaker 4. |
