The tie has a flexible cord (1) folded on itself into two equal lengths. The two ends of the cord are knotted between them are assembled to form a protuberance (2). A stop (3) has a push button (4) to allow adjustment of the stop force and is traversed by the cord without the knot. The knot or protuberance prevents the stop from falling off the cord. The stop force can be provided by a spring (5) which is compressed to contact directly or indirectly by the user on the push button.
