The device comprises a U-shaped curved flap (1) whose end two arms (1a) are engageable and fixable together via a screw mechanism (2). In this way the arms define a closed space (E) which can retain a small object such as jewellery (B). The device may also comprises a support leaf (3) connected to the flap and having a wave shaped portion (3a) at its head which completely covers the flap and is provided with an opening (3b) for receipt of the curved end (1c) of the flap.
