The kitchen press comprises a removable basket (3) formed by a cylindrical side wall with vertical perforations and a circular bottom. The bottom comprises perforations in the shape of parallel elongated slots. A circular plate (4) slides vertically in the basket and can turn freely at the end of a threaded rod (5) operated by a wheel (6). It cannot be rotated when it is in contact with the product. A frame (1) is constituted by two vertical uprights (7) having feet (8) and connected in their upper part by a cross member (9). The cross member has a tapped hole in which the threaded rod is screwed. The frame carries a juice reception tray.
