The symmetrical-to-asymmetrical transformer has an asymmetrical input (E0) to an upper track. Two conductor tracks (11,12) are mounted one on top of each other with gaps on a substrate with an earth plane. Each conductor has a side reactive arm (11s,12s). The far end of each track has an output (E1,E2) which provides equal amplitude and 180 degree phase shifted outputs.
