<p>Various methods for synchronizing incompatible databases (13, 14) using a history file (19) containing records of one of the databases (13, 14) at the time of a previous synchronization. One method allows synchronizing (15) databases (13, 14) in which different techniques are used for storing a recurring event. Another method permits comparing records from two different databases (13, 14) where one of the databases (13) is subject to rules of data value to which the other database (14) is not subject. A further method allows synchronizing two databases (13, 14) containing dated records where the records of the databases (13, 14) are synchronized across a date range narrower than the date range of one of the databases.</p> |
