The coupling has a rotor (3), which rotates in a working chamber (14) of a housing (2), and is non-rotatably connected to a shaft (10). The shaft can be connected to a rotating member (5) of an internal combustion engine. The torque of the rotor can be transferred to the housing. The connection between the rotor and the shaft is non-positive. The force can be conducted directly from the shaft to the rotor. The shaft is provided with a radial projection (7), which is pressed against the rotor through the connection of the shaft with the rotating member. The projection supports the rotor against the shaft bearing (4) through a spacer ring (11) seated on the shaft.
