The object to be fixed has a fixing seat (3) for attachment to the surface of the bath and a flexible intermediate member (4) is provided which matches the fixing seat and is flexible to match the different shaped bath surfaces. The intermediate member is dish-shaped with flexible edge to form seal against the surface. The intermediate member can be rounded on its side facing the fixing seat to form a spherical surface.
