<p>A method and system for managing a parking lot by which the management and operation of a parking lot are performed smoothly by the manager taking the convenience of the users into consideration. A parking ticket on/from which the information generated when a car enters the parking lot can be written/read out is issued. At this time, the entrance time of the car is recorded on the ticket. When the car is detected to park at a prescribed parking space, parking space information is recorded on the ticket. When a navigation device detects the will of outputting the parking space information, the device reads the parking space information from the parking ticket and outputs the parking space of the car corresponding to the parking ticket. When the car exits the parking lot, a charge adjustment device reads the entrance time and parking rate corresponding to the parking space from the parking ticket. The payment of the parking charge of the car is received based on the read information. Therefore, this parking lot management method is highly convenient to the users.</p> |
