Door with transom

The door has a frame (3), whose uprights are mounted in the building opening and each contain a horizontal drilling (3.1). One or more door-leaves are hinged in the frame and have a peripheral groove. The door also has a transom (2), which contains a peripheral groove and a horizontal drilling (2.1) at each end and near the bottom edge. The horizontal drilling opens into the narrow side edge of the transom and is aligned with the drilling in the frame upright. A vertical drilling at the bottom of the transom leads into each of the horizontal drillings. Each horizontal drilling accommodates an axially slidable horizontal pin (5), which is lockable. The pin typically contains a drilling (5.1) through which a locking screw passes.
