The air-permeable sections (11) are connectable with the inner space (10) of the tent (1). They are formed by a perforation machined into the rod channel (3) or by a net tissue (12) inserted into the channel. They are covered completely or partly in a longitudinal direction by a hood (13) fixed on both sides of the channel to the tent strip (2) and arranged with lateral clearance to the rod channel. The air-permeable section of the rod channel is completely or partly closable by a rip or hook and pile fastener type closure (16). This is arranged preferably at the level of a seam (5) locking the tent strip and operable by a draw cord or press-buttons.
