New pretzel forming machine

In a machine for forming pretzels straight dough lengths are supplied to the feed conveyor, which also removes the products and works with guides during formation. A system of stops locates the dough for the grips of the looping head. A drive roller carries a series of rather narrow belts (4a-e), its diameter increasing from belt to belt, moving outwards from the centre line. This varies the feed velocities (V1-5). Between the belts, there are a series of fixed (19) and sinking (6a-c) stops as well as preformed grip ends (7d, 7e) on either side with fixed end stops (16a, 16b).
