A device to close off a hole in a wall, especially an entrance, of an electrical switching station preferably made from cast concrete with a frame around the hole, has the frame formed from profiled pieces plugged together fixed to the wall (12) through the intermediary of a sealing element which is supported on the wall. The sealing element is held in the closed position of the frame against a support surface bounding the hole parallel to the wall surface. A sealing element pointing towards the roof is also held in the closed position of the frame against a profiled piece spanning the hole.
