The invention relates to a device for cooling extruded profiles comprising air slotted nozzles running perpendicular to profile movement placed above and below an extruded profile moving on an exit line and water-injecting nozzles applying water to the extruded profile, whereby the water-injecting nozzles are placed separately from the air slotted nozzles in tubes running in profile direction, so that the application areas of the individual water-injecting nozzles work together in order to ensure homogenous application on the profile.
