<p>The invention is a device for dispensing paper towels and the like. There is a length of cord arranged to support a pair of stop elements (21) below a hanging loop (20). The stop elements (21, 22) pass individually through the hollow cylindrical core of a roll (10) of paper towels and when suspended in side-by-side relation of the bottom of the roll (10), are collectively too large to pass through the core (11) and thereby support the roll (10) in the vertical orientation. There is a hanging loop (25) at the top of the roll (10) to support the roll (10). Also a section (31) of the cord (13) hangs downward over the exterior of the roll (10) and keeps the roll (10) from unwinding by gravity.</p> |
