The cover (5) has at least one opening (23) and a clutch thrust plate (2) whose surface (3) engages a friction piece (4) with a flywheel (1). Inside the cover is a diaphragm spring (7) which pushes the thrust plate towards the flywheel. Attached to the cover is a conical spring (18) which is parallel to, and works in combination with, the diaphragm spring, pushing the plate towards the flywheel. Integral to the circumference (18a) of the conical spring is a section (22) which projects into the opening and prevents twisting between the conical spring and the plate.
