Push-grate cement clinker cooler has fixed and moving grids and push-drive mechanism

A push-grate cooler transports (5) esp. cement clinker from a furnace. The cooling grate (6, 7, 8, 9) consists of two sequential grids (4a, 4a', 4a", 4a'''; 4b, 4b', 4b", 4b''') with fixed and moving (9) rows and a push-drive mechanism (11, 13). The novelty is that: (a) the number of moving (9) grid (4b, 4b', 4b", 4b''') rows is two or more times that of the fixed (4a, 4a', 4a", 4a''') grids; (b) the number of moving grids is greater than the first section fixed grids by a multiple which is whole number; and (c) the moving grids (8, 9) are all subjected to an identical motion (14).
