<p>PURPOSE:To obtain a desired control path by giving a sum of relay multiplexer address numbers to a path selection signal, subtracting its own station address number by each relayed multiplexer and deciding a path on the condition that the result of subtraction is 0 and the desired multiplexer address is coincident. CONSTITUTION:When a path is going to be secured for multiplexers 11-14 in the case of selecting paths for the multiplexers up to 14, for example, a sum X of relay multiplexer address numbers, as to the format of a path selection signal 31, is '6' (where 0+1+2+3=6) and the desired multiplexer address number Y '3'. When the signal is outputted from a management equipment 10, the multiplexer 11 subtracts its own equipment address number '0' from the sum X='6'. When the value is '0' and the desired multiplexer address number Y is equal, the data is used as a signal for its own multiplexer. Thus, the relay multiplexer address number is given again as (6-0)=6, then the output to paths 111, 112 is attained.</p> |
