<p>The present invention discloses novel telomerase-associated proteins as well as methods for isolating the genes encoding telomerase-associated proteins. Using novel screening methods presented additional telomerase-associated genes may be isolated and their protein products expressed and characterized. Identification of protein-protein interactions required for the in vivo function of telomerase provides the basis for a novel screening method for anti-tumor agents.</p> |
