Communication unit for packet switched network

摘要

The unit includes a storage unit which has a data packet storage area. A packet splitter is operatable by data which are stored in the data packet storage area. An error detection code generator is coupled to the splitter via an input. An acknowledgement message generator is coupled with its input to the output of the error detection code generator. The output of the acknowledgement message generator provides a acknowledgement message which includes the error detection code according to the packets parts from the packet splitter.
