The connector row includes several devices which are arranged with their lateral surfaces adjacent to each other on a carrying rail. Each device comprises respectively an insulating material casing with an upper view surface area, i.e. front surface area, over which the connection of the connector row are accessible for connecting of electric conductors. The casing comprises a front and a rear surface area, between which a contacting depth is measured, crosswise to the longitudinal extend of the carrying rail. The connector row is supplied with electronics which are installed in the casing or are plugged on the connector row. The front or rear surface area of the casing comprises a mechanical dock arrangement (14, 24) for at least one additional connector device, which automatically engages with at least one docking contact (20, 21) arranged at or in the respective front surface of the casing of a respective connector device. The docking contact is electrically connected over an internal conductor (22, 23) with the installed or attached electronics.
