<p>PURPOSE:To save the electric power for displaying on a screen while displaying information which is useful to a user on a display screen at all times. CONSTITUTION:When the image displaying of one frame ends, a CPU 9 re-edits image data on a VRAM 10 to a size which is a quarter as large as one screen and activates a display driver only by a quarter as much as one screen. The CPU 19 sets values of clocks required to scan one screen column and one screen in registers 4 and 7 respectively. A load timing control part 5 and a frame signal control part 9 determines the size of a screen to be displayed according to the values set in said registers. Consequently, data which are properly edited are displayed on the small screen.</p> |
