The device has upper and lower housing parts. The upper part (3) is provided with motorised movable cover flaps (7) on the top side facing away from the bottom part (2). Inside the upper part is located a vertically moving presentation plate (4). The upper and lower parts can be turned relative to one another by a drive. The presentation plate itself has a separate drive, as do the moving flaps. The drive for the latter has a motor and a multi- stage gearbox unit which has at least one worm gear stage and one spur gear stage.
