The invention seeks to improve the oxidizing and bleaching effects of inorganic peroxygen compounds, specially for dishwashing crockery. This is done essentially by using compounds of formula R<1>R<2>R<3>N<+>CH2CN X<->, in which R<1>, R<2> and R<3> are individually an alkyl, alkenyl or aryl group with 1 to 18 C atoms, wherein the groups R<2> and R<3> can also be part of a heterocycle containing an N atom and, optionally, additional heteroatoms, and X is a charge-balancing anion. The agents for dishwashing crockery contain approximately 1 to 10 wt.% of said bleach-reinforcing active agent.
