The pump has a channel (6) and a device (4) with which the channel can be continuously pressed together between its two open ends with rollers (11). Each channel is bounded by an elastic foil (3) and a flat component (2). Each channel is located between two parallel edges of the flat component so that its longitudinal axis runs at right angles to the edges with two immediately adjacent channels having a defined spacing apart. The elastic foil has a thickness of at least 1 mm. and its dimensions are matched to those of the surface of the flat component.
