Correction system for light uniformity for photographic copy printing

The system (10) contains an optical exposure system for printing an image on a photosensitive medium. It contains an exposure light source (36) and an imaging active matrix LCD (24) to generate an image, through which passes the exposure light for printing the image on the photosensitive medium (26). Between the imaging display and light source is incorporated an active matrix correction LCD (50) for equalising uniformity discrepancies in the optical exposure system. A first input polariser acts on the light impinging on the imaging display, while an output polariser acts on the light transmitted by the imaging display.
