<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically retain the outside handle for door of a vehicle to be in the locked state, in case of a side collision. SOLUTION: Levers 8 erected at both sides of an outside handle are rotatably supported by hinge axes, on the support bases 4 erected at both sides of the upper part of a housing 2. An elastic member 12 is provided at the hinge axes to give an elastic force retaining the outside handle in the initial state. And the device is provided with a rotary member 14 arranged at a specified position of the lever 8 so as to rotate when a specified shock is added from the sideface and a fixing part 16 holding the rotary member 14 when it rotates more than a specified angle.</p> |
