<p>Hydrous exchanging and consolidating device for draining and consolidating soils. The invention concerns a hydrous exchanging and consolidating device for soils by the effect of a suction field. The mass to be treated is subjected to a discrete suction distribution, by circulating air with a relative humidity less than 100 % in the drains. The device is made up of a series of bored drains (1) with an internal partition (2); it is topped by a connector (3) in which circulates air with a relative humidity less than 100 %. A tube (5) fixed on the partition (2) communicates the bottom of the drain with outside. The external part of the drain is covered with a geotextile sheath (4). The trapping of the humidity carried by the air is effected in an exchanger of relative humidity. The device enables the reinforcement of the soil in the case of rigid drains; it is particularly useful for consolidating poor quality soils.</p> |
