<p>In a refrigerator or deepfreezer comprising a door which has a handle and is articulated on a wall of the cabinet body and which is equipped, at its inner edge region, with a peripheral seal which comes to bear on the front face of the side walls and the top and bottom walls of the cabinet body, the door is subjected to an increased closing pressure after its closure by moisture freezing out.
