PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DNA construct for homologous recombination that can resolve the problems caused by conventional homologous recombination. SOLUTION: A DNA construct for homologous recombination includes a DNA sequence homologous to the DNA sequence of the receptor cells participating to the synthesis of a cell surface substance and the DNA sequence including the part coding for the protein participating to the synthesis of the desired cell surface substance and is constituted so that the protein may be controlled in its expression by the expression-controlling region of the protein participating to the synthesis of the cell surface substance on the receptor cells. When the resultant DNA construct is introduced into the receptor cells, the antigenicity on the cell surface varies depending on the decrease in cell surface substances on the receptor cells or on the presence of a desired foreign cell surface substance, and the homologous recombinant substances can be selected by utilizing the antigen-antibody reaction.
