PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject inhibitor to be readily administered orally, capable of eliminating a taste and a smell, by embedding finely granulated gristle of shark in an oil and fat matrix and coating the surface of the oil and fat matrix with a specific lipid. SOLUTION: Gristle of shark, preferably collected from Prionace glauca is finely granulated to give fine powder of gristle of shark comprising >=99.5wt.% powder having $32μm particle diameter. The fine powder is embedded in a matrix of oils and fats (e.g. hardened oil of beef tallow) having preferably 42-56 deg.C melting point. The surface of the oil and fat matrix is coated with other oils and fats having a melting point different from that of the oils and fats to give a tumor newborn blood vessel inhibitor. The inhibitor has both anti-cancer action and analgesic action. When the inhibitor is used as an anti-cancer medicine, a dose is preferably about 1-10g/day as an of the active ingredient to an adult by oral administration. |
