<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an LOG/CFAR(logarithmic constant false alarm rate) system, in which the probability of erroneous alarm is constant even for a radar video data having high fluctuation, e.g. Weibull distribution. SOLUTION: The average value N of logarithmic transformation video is determined by Cell Averaging(CA) method using a delay circuit 2, adders 3, 4 a divider 5 and a delay circuit 6 and the moving average of the fluctuation of video amplitude is determined as a deviation D from the difference between a logarithmic transformation video and an average value N by the same CA method. The average value N is multiplied by a coefficient K1 and and added to the deviation D multiplied by a coefficient K2 to produce a threshold value. A comparator 16 compares a logarithmic conversion video from the delay circuit 2 with the threshold value and a coefficient calculator 17 calculates the coefficients K1 , K2 such that a desired probability of erroneous alarm can be obtained in the detection.</p> |
