PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To transcribe an image, which is transcribed on an intermediate transcribing element at a low transcribing speed, quickly on a transported recording medium without awaiting idle rotation. SOLUTION: The sort of a fed recording medium is judged by an engine controller ECON on the basis of a pre-register sensor which senses that any recording medium is fed to the specified position and stopped, and on the basis of the result from judgement, the image producing speed relative to an image carrier 15 and the transferring speed onto the recording medium of the image transcribed on the intermediate transcribing element are changed, and thereupon an alteration is made for the transcribing sequence to the recording medium of various images corresponding to a plurality of pages which are accommodated in sequence on the intermediate transcribing element. |
