PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To distribute massive information in a short waiting time by using radio communication. SOLUTION: This information transmission system comprises a server 13 and a plurality of clients 11 connected to the server 13 by radio communication. The server 13 repeatedly transmits predetermined information with high probability of access by a broadcasting system. The clients 11 discriminate whether or not a requested program is broadcasted when the request of obtaining information is inputted. When the requested program is broadcasted, the clients 11 obtain the information without transmitting the request to the server and by receiving the broadcasting. On the other hand, when the requested program is not broadcasted, the clients 11 transmit the request to the server 13. The server 13 responds to the request and transmits the corresponding information by an on-demand system. The clients 11 obtain the information by receiving the transmission. |
