PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent such a case where a network connection fee more than an estimated amount is charged to a user by making the user feel as if he takes the cash out of his purse to pay the network connection fee for every connection of the network. SOLUTION: For instance, a user purchases a book of ¥2000 by on-line shopping when 20 minutes elapsed after the network connection. In such cases, the user selects 'payment shopping' after the clear processing. Thus, ¥2000 is stored in a money receiving/dispensing data temporary storage means 5 and the virtual purse data are produced. An output means 16 outputs the image data. Then an output message selection means 11 selects a message out of a message storage means 12 and outputs it via the means 16. As the price of the book is smaller than a limit amount, a due message is displayed. Then an instruction is received from the user to show whether he wants to purchase the book. If the user wants the book, the history data stored in a history data storage means 13 are updated. |
