PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a DC power supply which can supply nearly regular voltage when supplying power from the rectifying and smoothing circuit side at normal conditions. SOLUTION: A circuit configuration is such that the output of a storage battery 1 and that of a rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 may meet through a back flow preventive diode 2 located at the storage battery 1 side and power may be supplied to a load from the rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 side at normal conditions. As for a rectifying element of the rectifying and smoothing circuit 3, a thyristor is used. The output voltage of the rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 and that of the storage battery 1 are detected and then the gate of the thyristor is so controlled that a difference between the outputs of the rectifying and smoothing circuit 3 and the storage battery 1 may be within a specified range. |
